The WBA’s Business Development Committee is the newest committee of the WBA. The Committee’s mission is to promote the success of women in the law by creating an open environment for discussing and building the skills necessary to develop business opportunities. The three main goals of the Committee are to provide women with the skills necessary to develop business while simultaneously creating a network of contacts and support; analyze, explore, and address the unique challenges facing women lawyers in the area of business development; and to increase WBA membership by providing unique business development opportunities to WBA members and through an annual BDC panel event.

To enhance its efforts of providing ongoing skills training, the group will post research-based studies, articles, and discussion topics on this page every three months. These postings will include listing resources to women lawyers throughout Massachusetts whose schedules and/or locations may impede attendance at BDC meetings or events.
