The Women's Bar Foundation provides free legal assistance to victims of domestic violence, low-income seniors seeking a end-of-life document such as a will, health care proxy, power of attorney, or homestead declaration, and low-income individuals involved in housing disputes in Hampden County. 


The Women's Bar Foundation also provides advice, through educational programs, at the Women's Lunch Place, and correctional facilities such as Southbay, Kingston House, and Aid to Incarcerated Mothers.

Directions

Via the "T"

Green Line
From Park Street station. Park Street Station is located on the corner of Park Street and Tremont Street. When you exit the T station, the Boston Common should be behind you and the gold-domed State House should be to your left. Walk straight ahead down Tremont Street. You will pass Suffolk University Law School and the Omni Parker House Hotel on the right side of Tremont Street. When you reach the Omni Parker House Hotel, take a right onto School Street. Cross the street so you are on the left side of the street. 27 School Street is two doors down from Starbucks and has a sign for Women’s Fitness of Boston hanging above the door. Walk in and go to the 5th floor. The Women’s Bar Foundation is the first office you see from the elevator.

From Government Center station
Government Center Station is located on City Hall Plaza. When you exit the T station, walk toward the Starbuck’s with the giant teapot hanging above the door. Cross Court Street and walk up Tremont Street. When you reach King’s Chapel, take a left onto School Street. 27 School Street is two doors down from Starbucks and has a sign for Women’s Fitness of Boston hanging above the door. Walk in and go to the 5th floor. The Women’s Bar Foundation is the first office you see from the elevator.

Red Line
From Park Street station. Park Street Station is located on the corner of Park Street and Tremont Street. Blue and Orange Lines
State station has two exits; one is located directly below the Old State House and the other is on Washington Street. If you exit the T station from the Old State House, walk around the Old State House and take a left onto Washington Street. Walk against the traffic up Washington Street. When you see a large Border’s Bookstore in front of you, take a right into School Street. 27 School Street is two doors down from Starbucks and has a sign for Women’s Fitness of Boston hanging above the door. Walk in and go to the 5th floor. The Women’s Bar Foundation is the first office you see from the elevator.

By Car

From the North
Take 93 South to Exit 24 B-A toward Route 1-A North/Airport/Government Center. Take Exit 24-A toward Government Center. Turn Left onto Surface Road. Take a Right onto State Street, which turns into Court Street. Bear Left where the street splits. You will be on Tremont Street. There is a parking garage on your right. Go straight down School Street out of the garage, we are on the left side of the street after Starbucks.

From the South
Take 93 North to Exit 23 toward Government Center. Turn slight Left to take the Government Center ramp toward Faneuil Hall/Financial Dist/Aquarium. Turn slight Right onto North Street. Take a Left onto Congress Street. Take a Right onto State Street, which turns into Court Street. Bear Left where the street splits. You will be on Tremont Street. There is a parking garage on your right. Go straight down School Street out of the garage, we are on the left side of the street after Starbucks.

From the West
Take Route 2 East. Turn slight Left to take the US-3 North/Route 16 East ramp toward Medford. Turn slight Left onto Alewife Brook Parkway/US-3 North/MA-16 East. Continue to follow Alewife Brook Parkway/MA-16 East. Enter next roundabout and take 2nd Exit onto Mystic Valley Parkway/MA-16 East. Merge onto I 93 South toward Somerville/Boston. Take Exit 24 B-A toward Route – 1-A North/Airport/Government Center. Take Exit 24-A toward Government Center. Turn Left onto Surface Road. Take a Right onto State Street, which turns into Court Street. Bear Left where the street splits. You will be on Tremont Street. There is a parking garage on your right. Go straight down School Street out of the garage, we are on the left side of the street after Starbucks.

From the Mass Pike
Take the Mass Pike to Exit 22 toward Copley Square. Turn slight Right onto Stuart Street/MA-9 East. Continue to follow Stuart Street. Turn Left onto Charles Street South/MA-28 North. Turn Right onto Beacon Street. Turn Left onto Bowdoin Street. Turn right onto Cambridge St. Cambridge Street turns into Tremont Street. There is a parking garage on your right after the third light. Go straight down School Street out of the garage, we are on the left side of the street after Starbucks.
