Many women lawyers are navigating unprecedented levels of stress, uncertainty, and competing demands, leaving them feeling as though they are hanging by a thread. This program will explore the realities of burnout, overwhelm, and balancing personal life demands in today's legal profession, with particular attention to the experiences of women and attorneys from historically underrepresented communities. Participants will learn how chronic stress affects the brain and body, recognize early warning signs of strain, and develop practical strategies for maintaining well-being amidst the pressures of practice and life. The session will focus on realistic, evidence-based approaches to resilience, boundary-setting, self-compassion, and sustainable success in the legal profession.
Co-Sponsored by Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys, and the Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association.
